New partnership: Circular Computing

Circular Computing takes remanufacturing of laptops to the next level by producing carbon-neutral remanufactured laptops. The company exists to create a more ethical, sustainable and socially responsible way to buy IT, and we at the NCH are very glad to welcome them as the newest addition to our Partnership Programme!

Circular Computing promises a viable alternative to new by using a remanufacturing process that goes above and beyond the norm to give a premium-grade second-user product that looks and performs like new, all whilst ensuring carbon-neutral processes and end product. Fun fact: for every laptop purchased from Circular Computing, they also plant 5 trees!

Circular Computing's commitment to sustainability aligns seamlessly with the objectives of the Nordic Circular Hotspot Partnership Programme. By extending the lifecycle of IT equipment, Circular Computing contributes to reducing e-waste. In just the first half of 2021, the UK generated a mind-boggling 148,134 tonnes of e-waste, equal to 15 Eiffel Towers in weight.

Circular Computing's remanufactured laptops are a viable, eco-friendly alternative to new purchases. Their award-winning BSI Kitemark-certified Circular Remanufacturing Process breathes new life into old laptops, ensuring each unit performs 'as good as new'.

"We are excited to be part of the Nordic Circular Hotspot Partnership Programme and to work alongside other industry leaders who share our vision for a more sustainable future," says Conrad Mohr, Director at Circular Computing. "By joining forces, we aim to drive innovation, promote circular business models, and inspire positive change throughout the IT ecosystem."

Circular Computing also invites members of the Nordic Circular Hotspot to collaborate on initiatives that promote circularity, sustainable practices, and responsible IT consumption. As a member of the NCH, Circular Computing looks forward to learning from like-minded organisations to share knowledge, expertise, and best practices, and to create a resilient and circular IT industry in the Nordic region! If you are interested in collaborating with Circular Computing, don’t hesitate to get in touch with the team (or drop us a line and we will introduce you)!
